Ross Sea – The white desert

Along with expert ornithologist Frank Todd, we travel to a place like no other, a frozen sea where the white immensity seems unending. On board the Russian icebreaker Kapitan Klebnikov and in co-operation with National Geographic, we have visited one of the largest rookeries of emperor and adelie penguins to document their state and see what effects global warming is having on these marvellous birds and the great white continent.
