Brown bears of Alaska

The brown bears of Alaska come to the river to feed and get their strength back after their long hibernation. They have lost more than half their body weight and have to recover it to survive. The rivers are brimming over with salmons, swimming back up from open waters to the place where they were born, years ago.
In unique surroundings, these two giants struggle for their mission; the salmon must die to preserve its species and the bear must gain strength to prepare for a new winter. Thus some die and others live in the cycle of life.
